- Meet with Library staff for a short orientation of what each department/staff member does in the library
- Familiarize yourself with the Library's website
- Search the databases
- know the difference between full-text and an abstract
- set up a search alert and an RSS feed (using an EBSCO)
- email an article to yourself (using an EBSCO)
- Find a book in the library using the online catalog
- Checkout the Magazine/Journal Locator - does the library have your favorite?
- Order a video or book from Summit
- View your library record via webopac
- Look up a course reserve -

- Look yourself up in the library system - by L number and name. Are you in the system?
